SUMMER READING ASSIGNMENT and PROJECT for BGS - 5th Grade:

Read or listen to at least one (fiction or nonfiction) story. Reading can mean listening to recorded books, downloaded books, or online read alouds. Use the Summer Reading Triorama Project Directions and triorama paper to create your project. Be ready to share it at our Library Time together. Be sure to use a black marker to write down your name, the book's title, and the author. Each triorama will be put on display so be sure to add color and details. Bring your triorama in between August 27 - September 10th.

Summer is a great time to try a new genre, complete a book series, or check out one of the following recommended books! Consider participating in your Public Library's Summer Reading Program, the Barnes & Noble Summer Reading with Andrew Clements or the Reading Warriors Summer Reading Challenge, and setting a reading goal for yourself.
