Subjects Taught English Math  Reading   Science Social Studies   Biography         I am a native Tacoman and a 1984 graduate of CWA. I grew up and continue to live in North Tacoma. I attended Whitman College in Walla Walla from 1984 -1986 and transfered to Western Washington University to earn a BA  in elementary education and Sociology in 1989. I have a MA Ed from The University of Washington, Tacoma in 1994. I began teaching third grade at CWA in September 1990 and moved to fifth grade in September 1996.         My husband, Ron Rowles, is a computer technician and works in Seattle. My Son Elijah was born March 25, 2003 is the joy of my life. Hopefully  he'll be in the CWA class of 2021!  When not working, I love to play and watch baseball, snow ski, read, garden, cook and,of course, play with Elijah.
