· Currently editing the teachers edition of the book Voices and Views: A History of the Holocaust by Deborah Dwork
· Faculty advisor for student book project documenting local Holocaust survivors.
· Hosting International Students:
o 12 Students and 3 teachers from Swidnik, Poland will visit Charles Wright Academy from 9-19 October 2008.

· Co-leader that designed and taught new freshman mandatory program of instruction that included the following sections: world religions, current world issues, and US citizenship in a global world.
· Designed and taught senior elective entitled “Causes, Conflicts, and Resolutions of the 20th Century”
. Faculty Advisor for school Model United Nations Team
· Organized and lead student trip to Auschwitz, Poland to participate in an international Holocaust Remembrance Week, May 2007. Charles Wright Academy is the first US school to participate in the program.
· Designed and lead Winterim student trips to:
o Portland, Oregon to Cape Disappointment, Washington (2006). Traced the journeys of Lewis and Clark down the Columbia during the 200th anniversary of the expedition.
o Los Angeles (2007): Museum of Tolerance, Gamble House, Hollywood, and the Nixon and
Reagan Presidential Libraries.
o France (2008). Historical and cultural trip to Northern France. 10-day trip highlights included D-Day beaches and US Military Cemetary at Normandy, Bayuex Tapestry, St. Joan of Arc city of Roen, Mont St. Michel, and Paris
· Outdoor Education Leader for sophomore class.
North Atlantic Treaty Organization – Naples, Italy. 2002 – 2005
· Senior US Army officer supervising a multi-national team that conducted mobile training seminars and inspections for a myriad of intelligence and security issues for the NATO Southern Region.
· Senior US Army officer deployed to Baghdad, Iraq to assist in establishing the new Iraqi Military Academy. Responsible for designing all curriculum concerning international relations, democracy, and conflict resolution
· Extensive work with United Nations, European Union, and non-governmental organizations in support of humanitarian and crisis relief operations in the Balkans, the Middle East, Northern/Central Africa, Central America, and Southeast Asia.
· Senior US officer responsible for the integration of former Warsaw Pact nations into NATO. Designed curriculum and taught classes on democracy and the function of the military in democratic institutions.
University of Central Florida (US Army ROTC) – Orlando, Florida. 1999 – 2002.
· Course director for freshman studies. Created course entitled “The US Army Officer in the 21st Century – The Global Warrior.”
· Selected by university officials to mentor and advise general college students during annual “UCF Leadership Week.”
· Taught classes in the Education, Engineering, and Business Colleges on a regular basis.
US ARMY INTERNATIONAL EXPERIENCE
· 21-year career as a professional intelligence officer with extensive travel and work in over 29 nation’s world-wide. Lived abroad for 11 years.
· Served 5 years as a tank commander on the former East/West German Border.
· Operations and training officer for 800 person intelligence unit with a global deployment mission to support US and UN intelligence and humanitarian relief operations.
· Senior military advisor to the commander-in-chief of European NATO forces for all issues concerning Russia and the Former Soviet Union.
· Chief of security and integration of European Union, United Nations, and NGO representatives into the NATO humanitarian relief and peace support operations in Serbia, Kosovo, Macedonia, and Albania.
· Conducted seminars in global studies and intelligence integration in support of civilian agencies in England, Germany, Norway, Turkey, Spain, the Balkans, and Denmark.
COMMUNITY SERVICE
· Big Brothers/Big Sister Volunteer – Olympia, Washington
· Designed and lead high school religious youth retreats in Belgium, Italy, and Germany.
· Boy Scout Leader at Kandersteg International Boy Scout Camp, Kandersteg, Switzerland.
· Organized and coached first middle school lacrosse team in Oviedo, Florida.
· Special Olympics Volunteer – Fort Lewis, Washington.
FAMILY
· Married to Wendy Coddington for 22 years.
