I am a native North Tacoman who graduated from CWA in 1984. I attended Whitman College and graduated from Western Washington University with a BE in Education and Sociology. I earned my MEd from University of Washington: Tacoma in 1994.
I have been on the CWA faculty since August 1990 teaching third and fifth grades. In addition to teaching, I have coach JV softball for eight years, been a Cluster Chair for grades 3-5, been on the whole school Technology Committee for ten years, Alumni Board for four years, whole school Curriculum Committee for four years.
When not in school, I enjoy sports, cooking, gardening, and reading. I also love to spend time exploring and hanging out with my family, Ron and Elijah.
