Familydoctor.org: This site, produced by the American Academy of Family Physicians, is a valuable source for research on a variety of medical subjects, including teen-related ones such as eating disorders, sexuality, healthy lifestyles, and alcohol.

Gray's Anatomy: The 20th edition of this classic work on the anatomy of the human body is part of Bartleby.com's Great Books Online.

Health and Wellness Resource Center is a subscription database from Gale Cengage publishers, available through King County, Tacoma City, and Timberland Regional Library.

Medline Plus: Updated daily, this site contains information from the National Library of Medicine, the National Institutes of Health and other reliable sources on over 650 diseases and conditions. There are also a medical encyclopedia and a medical dictionary, and information on prescription and nonprescription drugs.

National Eating Disorders Information and Resources: The National Eating Disorders Association takes an activist approach to eating disorders, stressing early diagnosis and intervention. It describes the various disorders and relates them to gender and relevant cultural factors.
