Area Libraries
King County Library: Students who live in most areas of Pierce County or Tacoma may obtain library cards at KCLS. Temporary (one time) cards for access to the library databases are also available at no charge.
Pacific Lutheran University: Students can use library resources on site. Please check in at the circulation desk. There are four public-access computers available for access to PLU's databases.
Pierce County Library: Students without personal memberships should check with their school librarian to obtain materials or gain access to PCL online resources.
Tacoma City Library: Students must have their own cards to access online resources and obtain other library materials.
Timberland Regional Library : Students must have their own cards to access online resources and obtain other library materials.
University of Puget Sound Collins Memorial Library : UPS library allows visitors access to the print collection and the library's catalog, SIMON (look for the link at the bottom of the page).
University of Washington Tacoma Library: Visitors are allowed in-library use of most materials and of library computers for accessing the collections and other information resources.
