I was lucky enough to stumble upon the school’s name at a hiring conference for teachers and was even more fortunate CWA choose to take a chance on a young rookie teacher.

I love all of what CWA gives kids and adults that participate in our community.  CWA has given me a love and passion for the outdoors through its outdoor education program.  CWA has given me inspiration in our communities through its community service programs.  I could go on and on and on, what a fantastic place to work.

I was born and raised in  Oklahoma City, Oklahoma.  I have been in the independent college preparatory school system almost my entire life.  I went to Casady School, an independent Episcopal day school, for 15 years.  I attended Oklahoma State University, where I earned a Bachelor's of Science in Mathematics.  I spent a year and half substituting at Casady before moving to Tacoma, WA in August of 2005.

I feel honored and privileged to have had great opportunities opened by my education.  I am glad to share those opportunities with my students, and, hopefully, I can pass on the great lessons I have learned.

Teaching is my passion
