o Holocaust Remembrance Week 2007-2009: Charles Wright Academy is the only US school to participate in this European Union human Rights program. Program is now part of the school curriculum.
· Student Trips:
o Portland, Oregon to Cape Disappointment, Washington (2006). Traced the journeys of Lewis and Clark down the Columbia during the 200th anniversary of the expedition.
o Los Angeles (2007):Museum of Tolerance, Gamble House, Hollywood, and the Nixon and Reagan Presidential Libraries.
o France (2008). Historical and cultural trip to Northern France. 10-day trip highlights included D-Day beaches and US Military Cemetery at Normandy, Bayuex Tapestry, St. Joan of Arc city of Roen, Mont St. Michel, and Paris.
o Civil War Battlefields (2009). Battlefield and cultural trip to the following locations: Bull Run, Antietam, Fredericksburg, Gettysburg, and Washington, D.C.
North Atlantic TreatyOrganization – Naples, Italy. 2002 – 2005
· Senior US Army officer supervising a multi-national team that conducted mobile training seminars and inspections for a myriad of intelligence and security issues for the NATO Southern Region.
· Senior US Army officer deployed to Baghdad, Iraq to assist in establishing the new Iraqi Military Academy. Responsible for designing all curriculum concerning international relations, democracy, and conflict resolution
· Extensive work withUnited Nations, European Union, and non-governmental organizations in support of humanitarian and crisis relief operations in the Balkans, the Middle East, Northern/Central Africa, Central America, and Southeast Asia.
· Senior US officer responsible for the integration of former Warsaw Pact nations and militaries into NATO. Designed curriculum andtaught classes on democracy and the function of the military in democraticinstitutions.
University of CentralFlorida (US Army ROTC): Orlando,Florida. 1999 – 2002.
· Course director for freshman studies. Created course entitled “The US Army Officer in the 21st Century – The Global Warrior.”
· Selected by university officials to mentor and advise general college students duringannual “UCF Leadership Week.”
· Taught classes in the Education, Engineering, and Business Colleges on a regular basis.
U.S.Army International Experience: 1984-2005
· 21-year career as a professional intelligence officer with extensive travel and work in over 29 nation’s world-wide. Lived abroad for 11 years.
· Served 5 years as a tank commander on the former East/West German Border.
· Operations and training officer for 800-person intelligence unit with a global deployment mission to support US and UN intelligence and humanitarian relief operations.
· Senior military advisor to the commander-in-chief of European NATO forces for all issues concerning Russia and the Former Soviet Union.
· Chief of security and integration of European Union, United Nations, and NGO representatives into the NATO humanitarian relief and peace support operations in Serbia, Kosovo, Macedonia, and Albania.
· Conducted seminars in global studies and intelligence integration in support of civilian agencies in England, Belgium, Italy, Germany, Norway, Turkey, Spain, the Balkans, and Denmark.
· Commander of 200-person military intelligence unit with a global deployment mission. Conducted humanitarian and intelligence operations in Korea, Southeast Asia, Central America, Western Sahara, and the Balkans.

· Big Brothers/BigSister Volunteer – Olympia, Washington
· Religious Youth Leader
o Designed and lead high school religious youth retreats in Belgium, Italy, and Germany.
· Boy Scout Leader: Kandersteg International Boy Scout Camp, Kandersteg, Switzerland.
