Yay! The Environment! Research!
You have learned how to complete a RAD Form and are ready to start research on your environmental issues topic.
Here are a few reminders:
- Fill out all three parts of your RAD form. Ask for help if you aren't sure what to do and make sure that you get all the notes you need from a source.
- Wherever you search, be sure you choose information that is written by EXPERTS, is UP-TO-DATE and is USEFUL. Make sure there is enough good information to make it worth your time to take notes. If there isn't much to use, find a different source.
- Start with recommended resources such as Databases (look at the list in the menu at the top), books from the library or other web sites that your teachers suggest.
- If a password is required for a database, look for the password list link under the Databases menu and the Resources menu. You will need to log on to Tarrier Apps to see all our database passwords. Print one out and keep it in your binder.
