I need to know about Internet safety, cyberbullying or netiquette?

I don't know what a RAD form is!

A RAD form is used whenever you do research in the Middle School. It helps you keep your notes together with where the notes came from, it helps you write your bibliography and it helps you plan your next research steps.

I need a RAD form!

You can download a RAD form on this web site. Use the link on this help page or find it on any page on the "Quick Links" list. You can also find RAD forms just inside the library doors and perhaps in your teachers' classrooms.

I can't choose a topic!

First, read the directions for the assignment you are working on. Sometimes there will be topics you can choose from or a list to get ideas. Second, check with Ms. Harris or your teacher. If they aren't available, try browsing a web site or database. Britannica Online and Culture Grams are two examples. Wikipedia is a good place to find topic ideas (but be careful! Most of the time you can't use Wikipedia for note-taking).

I don't know where to find the information I need!

First, read the directions for the assignment you are working on. You might find information about where to go for research. Second, check with Ms. Harris or your teacher. If they aren't available, try looking at the list of databases on the research page of this website. You can read about each database and decide what might work the best for your topic.

The book I need is in the Upper School or Lower School library!

That's easy! Just ask Ms. Harris to request the book you need. It will be sent to the Middle School Library and will usually arrive the next day!

I need to know about Internet safety, cyberbullying or netiquette!

He or she will be able to help you solve the problem. If you need more information you can check out information on Internet Safety and Cyberbullying or learn proper online ettiquete on this web site. For even more information, you can talk to a teacher, your parents or Ms. Harris.
